Brighton have been busy in the transfer market, bringing in six new signings and sanctioning 11 departures so far. But with just over a month remaining until the window closes, the Seagulls are still looking to strengthen all areas of their squad.

While the Albion look well-stocked in defence and have sufficient depth in midfield, Danny Welbeck’s move to Chelsea has sharpened the focus on offensive reinforcements.

As things stand, Fabian Hurzeler’s side are without a fit, out-and-out striker.

The summer's recruitment drive has also extended to Brighton's academy. Following Tuesday's 2-1 friendly defeat at Worthing, work is continuing behind the scenes to strengthen Shannon Ruth's Under-21 squad.
