Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler is optimistic that Chema Andres and Ferdi Kadioglu will be fit to face Manchester City this weekend.

Both players were substituted after picking up hip injuries during the Seagulls’ 2-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend.

Nevertheless, they travelled to Manchester earlier this week ahead of Brighton’s two matches against City at the Etihad Stadium. The Brighton Base understands that the team have set up something of a training camp in Salford.

Kadioglu and Andres did not feature in Brighton’s Carabao Cup defeat to Enzo Maresca’s side on penalties but are expected to be available for Saturday’s meeting.
