Yankuba Minteh’s move to Liverpool has collapsed.

The winger was the subject of two bids from the Reds over the past week, but Brighton are refusing to lower their valuation of the forward.

The Seagulls have parted ways with a host of key players already this summer, including Danny Welbeck, Carlos Baleba and Jan Paul van Hecke, but all signs point to Minteh staying put on the Sussex coast this summer at this stage.

The Gambia international is currently sidelined whilst he recovers from surgery, having sustained an injury to his right leg/ankle during Brighton’s pre-season clash with AS Roma.
