Fabian Hurzeler felt Brighton showed signs of fatigue against Bologna, but believes there were plenty of positives to take from the hard-fought victory.
The Seagulls were forced to dig deep to continue their winning pre-season run with a 1-0 victory, with Jack Hinshelwood scoring the all-important goal from close range in the 59th minute.
Brighton dominated possession for the most part at the Amex Stadium, but chances were few and far between generally, with the better chances of the contest falling the way of Bologna.
Winger Nicolo Cambiaghi forced two excellent saves from Bart Verbruggen either side of the interval, with the Italian finding plenty of joy down the left up against Mats Wieffer.
