Brighton have submitted a third bid for Tottenham Hotspur defender Luka Vušković as they step up their search for a replacement for Jan Paul van Hecke.

The Seagulls are expected to shake up their defensive unit this summer, both with incomings and outgoings.

The Albion recently announced the departure of Van Hecke, who has joined Tottenham in a deal worth £52million.

The 26-year-old’s exit is set to trigger further changes at centre-back, with Brighton pushing to bring in a direct replacement as soon as possible.
