Brighton have reportedly rejected an offer from Coventry City for Carl Rushworth.

The goalkeeper enjoyed a sensational 2025/26 campaign on loan with the Sky Blues, keeping 17 clean sheets in 46 appearances.

He was also named Coventry’s Player of the Season, Players' Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season, which explains why Frank Lampard’s side have shortlisted him as one of their top targets this summer.

Rushworth was instrumental in Coventry’s promotion to the Premier League, and they believe that he would be equally as important as they bid to avoid relegation.
