Brighton sent 19 players on loan over the course of the 2025/26 season. Some, like Carl Rushworth and Amario Cozier-Duberry, were key players for their teams. Others struggled and will be hoping to turn things around next year.

Now that the season has concluded, The Brighton Base has graded all 19 members of the Seagulls’ loan army based on how they performed whilst away from the Sussex coast.

Matt O’Riley (Marseille): C

Before returning to Brighton in January, O’Riley spent the first half of the season on loan with Marseille. The Dane reportedly had been in contact with other clubs over the summer, including Juventus, about a potential permanent transfer.
