Brighton star Yasin Ayari remained coy when quizzed on recent transfer speculation, amid links to a host of top European outfits. The midfielder swapped Sweden for the south coast in January 2023, and his performances last season saw him become a regular in the Albion starting XI.

Ayari made 34 Premier League appearances from a possible 38 matches under Fabian Hurzeler, but the 21-year-old’s future has quickly become uncertain. The ex-AIK Fotboll talent recently joined up with the Sweden squad ahead of two international friendlies, where Ayari also spoke about a potential summer exit from the Seagulls.
