Manchester United are closing in on a deal to sign Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, The Brighton Base understands.
The Seagulls have parted ways with several key players already this summer, with Jan Paul van Hecke joining Tottenham and Danny Welbeck heading to Chelsea.
Another significant sale is now in the pipeline, with talks ongoing between United and Brighton over Baleba.
The Red Devils have submitted a bid worth a total of £65million - £60m fee plus £5m add-ons- for the Cameroon international, which falls below the Seagulls’ asking price.
