Following Albion’s 1-1 draw with PSG Women in a pre-season friendly at the Amex Stadium, The Brighton Base spoke to head coach Dario Vidošić about his team’s performance.
The Australian was pleased with his side’s dominant display, highlighting that for the first 60 minutes of the match the French side, arguably, had their strongest eleven on the pitch.
“We’re coming into our second game of the week and are a little bit sore and under fatigue, but this was just part of the periodisation,” explained Vidošić.
“We controlled the game well and created enough good opportunities, just we lacked that end product. And that could just come down to a little bit of fatigue and learning the movements of each other, but we got into a lot of good options.
