Brighton drew 1-1 with PSG Women in a pre-season friendly on Sunday afternoon, with a late free-kick from Maisie Symonds cancelling out Alyssa Charlier’s opener at the Amex Stadium.
The Albion skipper fired her 86th-minute delivery into the near corner from the left-hand side of the box, ensuring the hosts’s dominant display did not go unrewarded.
Other chances for the Seagulls came few and far between, with a strike from midfielder Emilie Joramo just evading an incoming Fran Kirby, while Les Parisiennes capitalised on a pacy transition through Romée Leuchter.
The PSG forward drove into the box before firing the ball across the face of goal for winger Charlier to tuck past goalkeeper Melina Loeck in the 38th minute.
