Brighton have reportedly joined the race to sign Getafe star Christantus Uche. The versatile midfielder is being eyed by a host of sides around Europe this summer, and a move away from the La Liga appears to be on the cards.
Fabian Hurzeler’s side have splashed the cash in recent weeks, bolstering their backline with three new signings as well as adding Charalampos Kostoulas to their attacking ranks. Now, the Seagulls appear to be in the market for reinforcements in midfield as part of their reshuffle.
According to AS, via Sport Witness, Brighton are among three Premier League outfits set to battle it out to sign versatile midfielder Uche. The Nigeria international enjoyed a stellar campaign with Getafe last season, scoring four goals and registering six assists, and his performances caught the eye of numerous suitors.
