Brighton have reportedly tabled a bid for FC Köln youngster Said El Mala, before he has even made his senior debut for the club.

The Seagulls have splashed the cash on several prospects so far this summer, with Charalampos Kostoulas arriving from Olympiacos and Diego Coppola joining Fabian Hurzeler’s side from Hellas Verona.

Further young signings appear to be being eyed at the Amex Stadium too, with German news outlet Express reporting that Brighton are pushing to sign El Mala from FC Köln and have already made an offer worth ‘double-digit millions’.

The left-winger impressed at the Under-19 European Championship for Germany, and his performances are said to have prompted the Seagulls to make a concrete approach to acquire his services.
