Brighton are reportedly interested in Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Rocco Reitz, but they face competition from RB Leipzig in the race to secure his signature.
The 23-year-old has enjoyed a strong start to the season, impressing in all his 21 appearances, whilst registering assists against Heidenheim and Hoffenheim.
The German also showed his qualities in last year’s Under-21 Euros, providing two assists and playing a key role in his side’s journey to the final, where they ultimately lost 3-2 to England in extra time.
Many of Reitz’s appearances this season have come in central midfield, but he has proved his versatility when previously being utilised in a more defensive-minded role, as well as a No. 10. The Bundesliga prospect has also shown his attacking qualities with a handful of appearances on the right wing.
