Brighton are reportedly interested in Union Saint-Gilloise star Promise David, but face competition from a host of Premier League rivals.
The striker bagged 24 goals in his debut campaign for the Belgian outfit and has scored 15 so far this season across all competitions, including two in the Champions League against PSV and Galatasaray.
With the World Cup fast approaching, David is expected to be a part of Jesse Marsch’s Canadian squad despite representing Nigeria at youth level.
According to TEAMtalk, the Seagulls have been monitoring the forward as part of their ongoing search for ‘undervalued attacking talent’, and Fabian Hurzeler’s side believe the 24-year-old can ‘transform’ their attacking options.
