Brighton are reportedly one of several sides to have been offered the chance to sign Marseille’s Angel Gomes.

The England international has struggled for minutes so far this season, featuring regularly in the opening stages of the campaign before dropping into a rotational role under manager Roberto De Zerbi.

With the World Cup on the horizon and Gomes’ situation showing no signs of changing, the former Manchester United academy graduate is pushing for a move this month.

The midfielder is keen to make a return to England and prove his worth in the Premier League, and intermediaries appear to be working around the clock for their client.
