Brighton are reportedly among a host of clubs interested in Anderlecht wonderkid Nathan De Cat.

The midfielder has been linked with a number of top sides over the past few weeks following his impressive start to the season in the Belgian Pro League, scoring once and assisting another in 14 appearances.

De Cat’s performances have not gone unnoticed around Europe, with plenty of clubs said to be plotting moves ahead of the January transfer window to avoid any disappointment in the summer.

According to TEAMtalk, Brighton are firmly in the race to sign the 17-year-old and have highlighted the midfielder as the ‘cornerstone of their next evolution’.
