Brighton have reportedly received a £25.6million offer from Napoli for midfielder Matt O’Riley. The ex-Celtic star struggled to hold down a regular starting spot with the Seagulls last season due to injury, and he now has a selection of suitors interested in signing him this summer.

Sky Sports report that the Serie A title holders are keen to sign O’Riley and talks are ongoing regarding a potential deal and the package which Brighton would demand to part ways with the playmaker. The Seagulls are said to still see the midfielder as an important part of their project, but they are willing to listen to offers if their internal valuation is met.
