Brighton star 'discusses exit with potential new teammate' as Roberto De Zerbi plots raid

Several Brighton midfielders are attracting in the closing stages of the summer transfer window.

Marseille have reportedly joined the race to sign Brighton playmaker Matt O’Riley. The midfielder has been the subject of plenty of interest since the summer transfer window opened, with several clubs around Europe keen to acquire his services.

Numerous Serie A sides have shortlisted O’Riley as a target in recent weeks, with Juventus, Napoli and Roma all positioned to step up their respective pursuits if Brighton make the midfielder available in the final few weeks of the transfer window.

According to L’Equipe, Marseille are also keen to sign O’Riley and have him high on their shortlist of midfield targets if the higher powers at the club rule that they need reinforcements in that department.
