Brighton loanee Matt O’Riley has made a good impression in France during his first few months at Marseille, so much so that the French outfit are reportedly keen to retain his services beyond this season.

The Danish midfielder started Albion’s first two games of the season before being an unused substitute against Manchester City. Less than 24 hours after that game, O’Riley made a temporary switch to Roberto De Zerbi’s Marseille.

The 24-year-old has so far played two Champions League games and four Ligue 1 games, where he’s scored and assisted against FC Metz.

According to LiveFoot.fr, Marseille Sporting Director Medhi Benatia is already convinced by O’Riley and his profile and could look to sign him permanently before next summer.
