Brighton have been handed a difficult decision to make following the return of Mark O’Mahony from his loan in the Championship. Four League One sides are reportedly showing serious interest in securing his services, but the Seagulls won’t be rushed into a decision.

The young striker spent the 2024/25 season on loan at Portsmouth and had somewhat of an up and down campaign, scoring three goals from 13 games. However, the majority of his season was spent on the sidelines with a serious muscle injury.

O’Mahony missed 16 games as a result, but even when he was available, he struggled to break into the Pompey side due to the good form of Colby Bishop.
