Brighton have reportedly rejected two bids from Premier League rivals for Joao Pedro. The Seagulls are intent on receiving maximum market value for the Brazilian forward, who the club are under no pressure to sell given that he still has three years left on his current deal.

According to talkSPORT, Brighton have rejected two offers of more than £50million for Joao Pedro. The bids were submitted in the last few days by Newcastle and another unnamed Premier League club. However, the Magpies are expected to improve their offer in the coming days.

The Albion are said to value the 23-year-old at £70million, and they will be hoping a bidding war breaks out for the ex-Watford star given other Premier League outfits, including Chelsea, are keen on securing his signature.
