Three Championship clubs are reportedly keen to sign Brighton youngster Tommy Watson in the January transfer window.
The winger joined the Seagulls from Sunderland over the summer in a deal worth £10million but is yet to make his Premier League debut for his new side. Instead, he has been an unused substitute on two occasions.
Watson has featured for Brighton in the EFL Cup though, scoring in his side’s 6-0 rout of Oxford United before bagging a hat-trick of assists as the Seagulls cruised to victory over Barnsley.
The 19-year-old’s lack of minutes at the Amex Stadium hasn’t gone unnoticed up and down the country, and Alan Nixon reports that a loan back to the Championship could be an option for the tricky winger.
