Brighton are reportedly monitoring James Garner’s situation at Everton closely following his strong start to the season.

The Englishman has hit the ground running under David Moyes, showcasing his versatility by playing in midfield and full-back when required – scoring his sole goal of the campaign against the Seagulls from left-back.

Garner’s performances have made him one of the first names on the team sheet for the Toffees, though his displays have not gone unnoticed by clubs elsewhere in the Premier League.

With the 24-year-old in the final year of his contract with Everton and yet to pen a new deal at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, a host of clubs are keeping tabs on his situation in the hope that they can snap him up as a free agent at the end of the season.
