Jakub Moder has said he is a ‘happier person’ since he secured a move away from Brighton in the January transfer window. The midfielder spent five years at the Amex Stadium, though injuries hindered his spell in the Premier League significantly.
The Polish international made a £1million move to the Dutch outfit last season in the hope of getting his career back on track after an ACL injury in 2022 saw him sidelined for 576 days, ruling him out of nearly 100 games.
Moder only managed to play 892 minutes at Brighton across the two seasons following his return to full fitness so the decision was made to switch the south coast for the Dutch ports. Six months on and the decision appears to have been the right one, with Moder featuring regularly in the Eredivisie and Champions League following his transfer - and he has now made it no secret that he is pleased with his move.
