Brighton are set to terminate Igor Julio’s loan spell with West Ham, The Brighton Base can reveal.

The defender has struggled for minutes at the London Stadium since his last-minute move on deadline day, making just four appearances for the Hammers.

Igor has only started one Premier League match during that time, with both ex-manager Graham Potter and current boss Nuno Espirito Santo favouring other options over the Brazilian.

The Seagulls and West Ham have therefore agreed to terminate the season-long loan deal early, which is expected to pave the way for Diego Coppola to leave the club on a short-term deal.
