Crystal Palace have reportedly agreed a shock loan deal to sign Igor Julio on loan from rivals Brighton.

The centre-back has been the subject of plenty of interest so far this summer, with Real Sociedad and Como both looking to acquire his services previously. But with under 24 hours left of the summer transfer window, Brighton now appear to have shown a willingness to entertain loan proposals - even from the most eyebrow-raising of suitors.

According to journalist Charlie Parker-Turner, Palace have reached an agreement with the Seagulls to sign Igor on a season-long loan deal. Personal terms are not yet in place with the ex-Fiorentina star but they are not expected to be an issue.
