Brighton are reportedly closely watching Middlesbrough’s Hayden Hackney as they weigh up a potential move in the January transfer window.
The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League over the past few seasons, with Manchester United and Crystal Palace among his long-term admirers.
Hackney has made 20 appearances in all competitions for Boro so far this season, scoring three goals and registering four assists, and impressing with how he has added an even greater attacking threat to his game.
According to TEAMtalk, Brighton and Fulham both had scouts in attendance at the MKM Stadium as Middlesbrough cruised to a 4-1 win over Hull City last week, with Hackney playing an instrumental role in the victory.
