Brighton are reportedly interested in signing Liverpool star Harvey Elliott and feel he could be the acquisition that would take them to even higher heights.

The Seagulls look set to lose a handful of attacking talents throughout the window, including Joao Pedro and Julio Enciso. There is also the possibility of winger Kaoru Mitoma moving to a Champions League club and underperforming Evan Ferguson leaving on either a loan or permanent deal.

According to The Sun, Brighton are therefore set to enter the race for Elliott and have identified him as their ‘key summer target’ and feel the acquisition of the 22-year-old could take them ‘to the next level’.
