Brighton are renowned for signing wonderkids, and a market they’ve often dipped into is the South American one. However, that seems to have changed over the last few months, with the Seagulls now looking closer to home and finding young European talent.
This was highlighted by the purchases of Greek duo Stefanos Tzimas and Charalampos Kostoulas, and they have reportedly their sights set on their next youngster as they are targeting Victor Froholdt.
The 19-year-old is a versatile midfielder who joined FC Porto from Copenhagen in the summer for a fee of just under £20million, and he’s already caught the eye of many big clubs with his impressive performances in Liga Portugal and the Europa League.
