Leeds 'plotting permanent move' for loanee just days after striking Brighton agreement

Leeds United are reportedly hoping to sign Facundo Buonanotte on a permanent basis once his loan spell from Brighton concludes.
The Argentine joined Daniel Farke’s side earlier this month after being recalled from a disappointing spell with Chelsea, where he made just eight appearances in all competitions.
Buonanotte was initially set to join Leeds over the summer on a season-long loan deal, but despite travel plans being in place ahead of his medical in West Yorkshire, he opted against heading to Elland Road after a late approach from Chelsea.
Despite the U-turn, Leeds’ interest in the playmaker never faltered, and they will be hoping that his arrival, albeit six months later than they had initially hoped, will aid their push for Premier League safety.
