Brighton have reportedly already made a decision on the future of Facundo Buonanotte, but it’s one that may come as a surprise to many Albion supporters after the sale of Joao Pedro.

The Seagulls have officially announced the departure of the Brazil international to Chelsea for a deal worth around £60million including add-ons, and conversations about whether to replace the forward are likely to be underway.

Brighton could, of course, dip into the market for another creative forward, though the return of Buonanotte may have suggested that he could be in the pipeline to step up next season. However, this no longer looks to be the case.
