Fabian Hurzeler speaks out on Brighton spending spree so far as transfer plans laid bare
Brighton have already splashed the cash on a host of new signings this summer.

Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has spoken about the club’s new signings and the way they conduct their transfer business. The Seagulls have already spent £50million this summer and the German was visibly pleased when talking about his newest recruits.
The first signing of the window came way back in March, when they finalised a £1million deal for Daejeon Hana Citizen wonderkid Yoon Do-young. However, Hurzeler will have to wait at least a year to work with the 18-year-old as he is set head out on loan to hopefully secure a work permit for the 2026/27 season.
The second signing also came before the window opened. In April, Brighton announced they had reached an agreement with Sunderland for Tommy Watson, reportedly worth £10million, and the English winger then officially joined the club in June.
