Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has spoken out on his side’s plans for the remainder of the summer transfer window, with plenty of business in the pipeline as the Seagulls look to shift some players before Monday evening’s 7pm deadline.
The Albion currently have a 33-man squad (excluding youngsters, such as Harry Howell) and with the maximum squad size being 25, it is crucial they move some players on.
There have been rumours about a host of players throughout the summer, but the likely departures look to be Igor, Jeremy Sarmiento, Abdallah Sima, Facundo Buonanotte and Julio Enciso. There is also a chance that the likes of Tariq Lamptey and Matt O’Riley leave on permanent deals, with both being linked to Italian clubs Fiorentina and Juventus.
