Fabian Hurzeler is ‘confident’ that Brighton are capable of replacing every individual in their team following Joao Pedro’s move to Chelsea. The Brazilian joined the Blues earlier this month and he has since enjoyed Club World Cup success with his new teammates.
A host of Seagulls stars have been linked with moves away from the Amex Stadium, including Pervis Estupinan, Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba, but Hurzeler remains calm about the situation.
Instead, the German is quietly confident in the succession plans in place for every member of his squad and has reiterated his faith in Brighton’s transfer model of selling players when the price and circumstances are appropriate.
