Nottingham Forest have reportedly shortlisted Brighton’s Evan Ferguson as a target this month.

The forward’s time out on loan with AS Roma has been a mixed bag so far, scoring five goals and registering two assists in 20 appearances for the Serie A outfit.

During that time, the Irishman has also been slammed by manager Gian Piero Gasperini on several occasions as well, with the ex-Atalanta boss going as far as publicly admitting that he is not convinced by the loanee’s quality.

Roma are therefore in the market for attacking reinforcements, which could pave the way for Ferguson to return to the Amex Stadium.
