Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler has spoken about the possibility of recalling youngster Evan Ferguson from his loan at Roma following Stefanos Tzimas’ season-ending injury.

The Irishman has struggled in Italy so far, playing just 408 minutes across 10 Serie A games, in which he has only scored one goal. However, he impressed in the Europa League against Celtic earlier this week with a first-half brace in a convincing 3-0 victory.

Tzimas’ ACL injury leaves Brighton short of striker options, leading to conversations about whether Ferguson could return to the Amex Stadium in January to bolster his parent club’s attacking ranks.
