Blackburn Rovers are reportedly plotting a move for Brighton’s Eiran Cashin.

After a pursuit spanning over several seasons, the defender joined the Seagulls last January in a deal worth £9million. However, he struggled to impress in a brief few opportunities at the Amex Stadium and was sent out on loan to Birmingham City over the summer.

The spell at St Andrew’s hasn’t panned out how the centre-back would have hoped either, with the former Derby County star starting just three Championship games so far this season.

Cashin’s situation has caught the attention of a host of other EFL outfits, with Norwich and Charlton among those linked with acquiring his services if Brighton were to decide to terminate his loan with Birmingham.
