Charlton chief reveals how Brighton can strike Micah Mbick deal as third bid considered

Charlton Athletic managing director Jim Rodwell has revealed that his side are willing to part ways with Micah Mbick this month, as long as the deal suits the Championship outfit.
The admission comes after it emerged that Brighton have been attempting to strike a deal for the teenager in recent weeks, with their opening two bids being rejected by the Addicks.
The Seagulls are said to be considering a third approach for Mbick, who is currently impressing on loan at Colchester United.
Fabian Hurzeler’s side have now been offered a glimmer of hope in their pursuit, with Charlton chief Rodwell not ruling out a deal being agreed this month, but only if Brighton are willing to table an offer which his side simply cannot refuse.
