Brighton have reportedly seen a bid rejected for Toulouse star Charlie Cresswell.

The defender has impressed in the Ligue 1 this season, making 20 appearances in all competitions and asserting himself as a key player under manager Carles Martinez.

Cresswell has also chipped in with three goals and two assists.

The 23-year-old was the subject of plenty of interest over the summer after he played a starring role in England’s success at the European Under-21 Championship, alongside Jack Hinshelwood and James Beadle.
