Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba was the subject of plenty of interest over the summer, but the Seagulls stuck to their guns and refused to let him leave.
The noise slowly started to fade throughout the first few games of the season, and it finally seemed to be going away, until one of the youngsters’ Premier League compatriots decided to take matters into his own hands recently.
The Cameroonian has started the season in disappointing form and is yet to complete a full 90 in all competitions. His early exit from games has largely been down to poor first-half displays or picking up early bookings, which has forced Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler into tactical rethinks.
