Birmingham City are reportedly planning to open talks with Brighton over a permanent move for James Beadle.
The goalkeeper joined Chris Davies’ side over the summer on a season-long loan deal, and the England Under-21 has since impressed at St Andrew’s.
Beadle has made 19 appearances in all competitions for the club, keeping three clean sheets in the Championship. He was sidelined over the festive period with an ankle injury but has now returned to full fitness.
Despite making some errors along the way, Birmingham are generally happy with the development of the 21-year-old and are already drawing up plans to retain his services.
