Brighton are reportedly keen to sign Ian Subiabre from River Plate, with a swoop in January targeted to try and edge the race for his signature.

Subiabre has impressed since breaking into the first team of his boyhood side at the start of 2024, with the Argentine being on the radar of Europe’s top clubs since he was just 16.

Most recently, the winger played a key role in his nation's run to the Under-20 World Cup final in Chile, scoring twice and appearing seven times throughout the tournament.

According to TBR Football, Subiabre is expected to be on the move in 2026, with a number of clubs plotting moves.  Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea are said to have already held talks with the forward.
