Brighton have announced that James Beadle has penned a long-term deal with the club before returning to Birmingham City on loan.
The goalkeeper spent the 2025/26 campaign at St. Andrew’s, keeping eight clean sheets in 35 league appearances.
Despite some shaky moments, the 22-year-old retained the faith of manager Chris Davies, who reiterated towards the end of last season that he hoped a second agreement with Brighton could be reached for the shot-stopper.
As reported by The Brighton Base, those negotiations have been ongoing over the past few weeks, and a new deal has now been struck.
