Brighton’s defensive reshuffle has taken another dramatic turn, with a deal now in place to sign Tottenham’s Luka Vušković for a club-record fee.
The Seagulls have made it their mission during the early stages of the summer transfer window to shake up their defensive ranks.
Following the departures of Jan Paul van Hecke and Joel Veltman, Brighton have already signed Costinha and Pascal Struijk as part of their defensive rebuild.
Michael Svoboda is also on the cusp of joining Fabian Hurzeler’s side from Venezia. It is understood that the centre-back has already completed his medical with the club and an agreement on personal terms has been reached.
