Brighton have announced that Diego Gomez has put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with the club.
The Paraguayan has signed a five-year deal at the Amex Stadium, with an option for a further year.
Gomez made 37 appearances in all competitions for the Seagulls last season, scoring 10 goals and registering one assist.
The 23-year-old has become an important player under manager Fabian Hurzeler, with his energy and versatility providing his manager with plenty of options in midfield and across his front line.
