Brighton new winger Yoon Do-young has opened up on some of his regrets as he leaves Daejeon Hana Citizen for the Premier League. The forward struggled with injuries after his move to the Seagulls, which saw his minutes limited.

Yoon left the pitch in tears during his final game for the K League 1 outfit earlier this week. He was seen being comforted by his fellow players and managers before being given a lap of appreciation in front of the Korean fans one last time.

After the game, the 18-year-old spoke about his emotional exit, saying: “I didn’t think much while playing because I was focused on the game. But when I saw my number on the substitution board, it hit me that this was really the end.
