Brighton 'looking to improve' data model as Tony Bloom sheds light on recruitment process

Brighton are always prominent when it comes to the transfer window due to their unique use of data, and their recruitment is always heavily praised by those outside of the club.
Owner Tony Bloom has now spoken about how the Seagulls go about identifying their top targets and how he hopes his side can become even better in the market.
Brighton acquired the services of nine players across the last two windows from eight different countries, including France, Italy, Greece, Belgium, Ireland, Paraguay, England and South Korea.
Speaking about the Seagulls’ recruitment, Bloom told The Athletic: “We are looking for the best possible players; the right type of player, the age profile, the money. So we don’t care where it is, hence we have huge amounts of nationalities in the building.”
