Brighton new signing Tommy Watson has revealed that Fabian Hurzeler has told the squad that the club are aiming for a top-five finish next season.

The 19-year-old finalised a £10million move to the Albion from Sunderland in July after a deal was agreed in early April. The Englishman joined after a rollercoaster of a season in the Championship, but he gave the fans the perfect goodbye when scoring the winning goal in the play-off final to send his boyhood club to the Premier League.

Watson has now set his sights on making an impact at the Amex Stadium, telling My Albion TV: “I want a good amount of minutes in the Premier League, I want to establish myself as a Premier League player.
