Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has spoken about key players Kaoru Mitoma and Carlos Baleba ahead of this weekend’s fixture against Liverpool.

The pair were absent from the Seagulls’ 1-0 victory over Sunderland over the weekend, but a solid all-round performance and a bizarre goal from Yankuba Minteh helped their side secure a much-needed three points to make it three wins from their last four games.

Following the victory, Hurzeler provided an update on Mitoma’s condition after the Japanese winger sustained an issue against Arsenal in midweek, telling The Argus: “It's nothing serious. He went for a scan, and the scan results show that there was no injury.
